HAVING lost their last FA Trophy ties against opponents who are former champions of the Hellenic League, Winchester City ended the sequence with Tommy Wright scoring a hat-trick and IK Hill scoring twice.
After both teams had efforts just off target early on, Winchester took the lead in the ninth minute with Wright’s low shot. And it was 2-0 when the same player scored from a free kick.
