WORKINGTON scored two late goals after a dominant second-half performance to deservedly clinch this tie.
They had fallen behind in the 14th minute when Fenton John split the home defence with a simple ball through for Jack Foalle to beat Alex Mitchell.
Steven Rigg and Josh Galloway both had good chances to score for Workington but shot over the bar, while three home players couldn’t get on the end of a wickedly struck free-kick from Dav Symington across the face of the Morpeth goal.
