■DESPITE a lacklustre first half, Vauxhall Motors overcame ten-man Hanley Town to secure a hard-fought win.
The match took a dramatic turn in the 44th minute when Kyle Blake was sent off for lashing out at Ben Holmes while he was on the ground. With Hanley down to ten men, the second half came alive.
Josh Quarless broke the deadlock, slotting past a stranded Danny Moore. Vauxhall doubled their lead when Connor Rankin rounded the keeper after a fortunate bounce. Hanley responded and Dylan Scott found the net but Kevin Ellison extinguished hopes of a c...
