Derry double sees off Rovers

BARTON ROVERS exited the FA Trophy at the hands of a physical Folkestone Invicta side.
The game started brightly for Barton. A John Shamalo snapshot was blocked and Cam Hyde’s follow-up was snuffed out by the visitors.
With 10 mins on the clock, Rovers’s Lucas Kirkpatrick was brought down in midfield after a strong breakaway, the free kick came to nothing but the Folkestone man could consider himself very lucky not to see yellow.
