GOSPORT BOROUGH advanced into the second round by hammering five second-half goals past Taunton Town after going a goal behind.
The visitors started well. Ryan Gosney saved from Jake Hodgson before Alfie Mouldson glanced a header against the post on 10 minutes.
The visitors were dominant, and Gosport’s first attack came after all of 23 minutes. Taunton opened the scoring moments later: Jayden Nielson blasting home inside the far post.
Gosney made three more saves before the half was done.
