ARCHIE Jones’ 67th-minute winner was enough for Real Bedford to earn a vital victory to go three points clear of Flackwell Heath and just one point adrift of leaders Hadley.
In an early battle between two sides gunning for promotion, a nervy start was always to be expected, but that didn’t stop the Pirates from giving those in attendance a preview of what was to come.
