FOREST Green Rovers boss Steve Cotterill said he’d never been as proud of his side as they produced a battling performance to push League One Stockport County all the way to extra-time.
Fraser Horsfall’s impressive volley gave the Hatters a 64th-minute lead but Christian Doidge’s equaliser for Rovers meant an extra 30 minutes at Edegley Park from which Kyle Wootton ultimately netted the winning goal.
