AN INJURY-TIME equaliser from Declan McLoughlin rescued an unlikely looking point for FC United in a low-key encounter at Hebburn Town, cancelling out an earlier strike from Joao Gomes.
The Hornets attacked from the first kick, Joe Posthill slicing over inside 50 seconds.
FC United were looking to break and Adam Le Fondre was unlucky with a shot that was pushed wide by Kieran Hunter. At the other end, the Red Rebels’ custodian Conor O’Keefe was called into action, saving well from Aidan Heywood.
