SPOONER’S A STUNNER IN BATTLE OF THE TIGERS

HYDE United won the ‘battle of the Tigers’ after a 2-0 victory over Worksop Town to jump into the play-off places.
Goals in each half from Ewan Bange and Callum Spooner guided the hosts to victory.
Worksop started brightly and forced a series of corners in the opening few minutes after Alex Starcenko’s shot was deflected wide by Joel Amado. However, it was Hyde who opened the scoring in the fourth minute as they broke from the last corner.
