CHESHAM UNITED 2 CHIPPENHAM TN

■ CHESHAM saw off Chippenham at home for the second time in a month despite resting players.
The visitors had more of the ball in the first half but rarely troubled the Generals’ defence and United’s best chance saw Nathan Minhas’ shot tipped around the post by goalkeeper Will Henry.
The course of the game was changed just after the hour when Minhas brought the ball down with his back to goal, turned and shot past Henry to open the scoring.
Ten minutes later, a neat move ended with Joe Grant squaring for Minhas to slide in his second.
