■ PETERBOROUGH Sports won this duel between National League North and South.
The hosts opened the scoring just seven minutes in through Max Booth on his first start for the Turbines. The second half saw a momentum shift and City’s Bradley Williams put an inviting ball across but Charlie Ruff could only guide his glancing header just wide.
Jake Hyde then leapt above everyone and headed just off-target.
There was drama four minutes into injury time. Jordan Greenidge forced a corner from Peter Crook and Chelmsford sent up Ted Collins for the set-piece.
