■ OSSETT United and Carlton Town fought out a well-contested goalless draw at Ingfield.
Coming into the game with three wins from four, hosts Ossett started brightly against an 11th place Carlton outfit.
A first half of few real chances was marked by spicy challenges, one of which earning Ossett’s Alfie Proctor a booking.
The second half started much like the first, an even contest between the two teams. On the hour mark Carlton asserted their dominance having the better of the chances as the game became attack versus defence.
