WIDNES cruised back to the top of the table with a convincing win over bottom club Hanley. The Whites were in total control from the first whistle, going close after just four minutes when Sean Miller rattled the crossbar.
Their opener came after 25 minutes when Jacob Holland-Wilkinson’s initial effort bounced against two Hanley defenders before ricocheting off the body of Jack McGowan and into the net.
