■ IT ENDED honours even in this Isthmian League South East Division clash as Steyning and Croydon couldn’t be separated.
Luke Dreher opened the scoring in the 31st minute in front of the 147-strong crowd. Walter Figueira showed a deft touch on the wing, before fizzing in a peach of a cross for Dreher to nod in.
In this admittedly scrappy game, Croydon edged the first half well.
