HEED HAVE AVOIDED A ‘DISASTER’, SAYS CARL

CARL Magnay believes Gateshead would have been facing “a disaster” if off-field issues had prevented them from being eligible for promotion into the Football League for a second consecutive season.
Just over six months have passed since the Heed were denied a chance to compete in last season’s National League play-offs after it emerged their International Stadium home had failed to meet the criteria to host EFL fixtures.
