DOVER ATHLETIC extended their lead at the top of the Isthmian Premier Division with victory over Bowers & Pitsea.
Bowers started well with Alex Teniola hooking acrobatically wide, before Alfie Evans and on-loan Evans Kouassi had strikes deflected behind. But it was the visitors who took the lead – George Wilkinson’s free kick was turned home at the back post by Ruben Soares-Junior.
