CANVEY ISLAND continued their good run of form with a 2-0 win over Cray Wanderers.
This was a poor game ruined by the strong winds that made playing conditions almost impossible for both sets of players.
Bobby Mason was forced into the first save of the afternoon for Canvey Island, making the stop with his legs after only six minutes.
Cray edged much of the half and will have been gutted to concede a spot kick after 43 minutes. Chris Harris was fouled and Bradley Sach stepped up to fire his penalty confidently past Shawn Rowl...
