PROUD chairman Jez Dickinson says Brentwood Town are preparing for the biggest fixture in their history when high-profile neighbours Southend United visit in the Isuzu FA Trophy.
The Step 4 Blues knocked out National League North side Hereford to reach the third round for the first time in the club’s modern history.
And their reward is, arguably, the most glamorous tie they could have imagined – a crunch all-Essex affair with the National League big guns – a tie which Dickinson joked he predicted.
