WINCHESTER City moved out of the Southern Premier South relegation zone after edging past fellow strugglers Sholing in a crucial six-pointer.
Victory is crucial for any side at this time of year, but coming into their game against Sholing off the back of two defeats in their past two games, Winchester had to get things right. And they did.
The two sides frantically fought at times in an expectedly nervy display, before Ik Hill became the most composed man on the pitch to finally open the scoring.
