■ SEAN Miller’s 93rdminute winner extended Widnes’ lead at the top of the table. They prevailed against the 10 men of Newcastle Town despite a game showing from Neil Baker’s visitors.
Widnes took the lead inside the opening three minutes when Miller converted a penalty after Harry McGee was fouled by Tom Thorley.
