■ THE Baggies finally registered a league win at the sixteenth attempt with an excellent victory over Westfield.
Home debutant Finlay Evans was the hero with goals in each half to secure the three points despite a late rally from the visitors.
His first goal arrived in the 26th minute when he rose highest to head home a Babs Dehghani free kick.
Both sides made changes after the break, but the scoreline remained the same until the last ten minutes when Finlay Evans broke free and went round the keeper to slot home into an empty net.
