HEYBRIDGE Swifts secured just their second n home victory of the season with a hard-earned victory against Walthamstow in windy conditions.
Swifts got off to a perfect start when Andy Fennell got on the end of a pinpoint Kojo Apenteng cross to head Swifts into an early lead.
The hosts’ advantage was soon doubled when an error from the Walthamstow back line was punished by a persistent Scott Sloots, who got his reward for an aggressive press.
