BRIG TAKE SPOILS AFTER JOE MAKES EARLY EXIT

GOALS from Mark Cullen and Nathan Mercer earned Bamber Bridge victory against ten-man Hebburn Town.
There was a dramatic start as Brig’s Lewis Hey pounced on a long ball from Callum Leigh in the second minute before being brought down inside the penalty area by Joe Walton, who was shown his marching orders for the foul.
Up stepped Mark Cullen, who crashed an effort past the despairing Kieran Hunter to give Brig the lead with just three minutes on the clock.
