KEVIN Ngombi’s hat-trick sent Boldmere on their way to a thumping win over Rugby.
Ngombi’s first came from a Mikes’ breakaway, the ball slid accurately past Rugby keeper Hathaway after only two minutes.
Coming in from the opposite side with 19 minutes gone, Hathaway got a hand to Ngombi’s low shot, but the ball trickled across the line for goal number two.
A third soon arrived, when Ngombi headed powerfully home from a corner.
