BEMERTON gained a n hard-fought morale-boosting victory over the league leaders thanks to a double by Joe Smith.
Yate took the lead in the 18th minute when Lucas Tomlinson scored a free-kick. The hosts equalised just before the break when Olly Balmer whipped the ball into the box and after the visitors failed to clear it, Joe headed it over Aaron Sainsbury and into the net.
The winner came in the 80th minute when Domenico Cameron Panesar-Dower crossed into the goalmouth and the ball was bundled home by Smith. Leighton Thomas was sent off for a high-boot...
