BOWERS & PITSEA were rewarded for the long journey with a hard-earned three points in Sussex.
A saturated Pilot Field greeted both sides for this league match and the referee had a couple of looks at the pitch and decided at 2.10pm that the game would go ahead.
The Bowers took the lead within two minutes as a long throw and a flick-on beat the Hastings defenders with TQ Addy getting the goal.
