■ CINDERFORD go into the New Year at the foot of the table, but buoyed by a come-from-behind win.
Heavy fog delayed the kick-off, and it must have been a tight decision to let the game go ahead.
There had been few chances before Henry Sady opening the scoring for Melksham. Six minutes after half-time, a right-wing cross floated into the Melksham box and Ben Vine rose to head home.
The visitors became increasingly concerned about the fog, but play continued and, 12 minutes from time, Noah Coates arrived unmarked at the far post to give Cinderford the lead...
