■ A COMPREHENSIVE home win saw Westbury continue their steady rise up the league.
The match was marred early on by a serious-looking injury to Westbury’s Josh Jenkins. After a lengthy delay, it took a while for things to get going, however, on the half hour, Bevan Cross hit a great, low half-volley that bounced back off a post.
Joe Beardwell opening the scoring after 45 minutes when he rifled an unstoppable shot past Jonny Hill to open the scoring.
Hill was beaten again by Beardwell soon after.
