GLEN Taylor struck twice as Spennymoor Town overcame Hampton & Richmond in this battle of National League South v North to advance to the last 16 of the FA Trophy.
Moors fans made the 280-mile trip down from Durham in good numbers and left in high spirits after a goal in each half from their top scorer sealed victory before Hampton striker James Roberts was sent off in stoppage time.
Hampton showed first on a cold afternoon in TW12 – Roberts forcing Brad James into a smart save on 26 minutes.
