GIANT-KILLERS Basford United saw their fine FA Trophy run come to an end after running into a slick Eastleigh side at Greenwich Avenue.
Two goals inside three second-half minutes from Paul McCallum – either side of a Richard Brindley opener and Alex Stepien-Iwumene’s late clincher ensured that Josh Barnes’ goal back for the Step 3 Ambers would serve as mere consolation.
