MICKLEOVER ended a sequence of five defeats to kick-start their survival bid at the expense of play-off hopefuls Stockton Town.
Owen Gallacher’s own goal in the first half decided the outcome, the fullback an accidental accomplice after goalkeeper Nathan Harker pushed Marcus Barnes’ low cross from the left against him before the pair watched the ball drift into the net.
