STALYBRIDGE made it back-to-back wins, with Brandon Newell’s goal the difference.
Benni Smales-Braithwaite saw a powerful shot strike the post before Kidsgrove should have gone ahead.
Kingsley Adu-Gyamfi and Aaron Bott found themselves with an open net, the latter then looked to be about to score, but Jack Tinning made a superb clearance on the goal line.
The home side then took the lead. Lewis Rawsthorn evaded a Kidsgrove defender and drilled a low cross where Newell slid home.
