■BERKHAMSTED emerged victorious despite early Enfield dominance.
First, the visitors’ George Thompson saw an effort blocked on the line, whilst Kieran Southgate watched as his attempt was cleared. After surviving that onslaught, Berko took the lead in the 43rd minute when Dan Newton rose highest to head past George Edgeworth.
The dangerous Thompson and Southgate came good for the away side after the break with the latter heading home the former’s cross.
