BASINGSTOKE Town put Tiverton Town to the sword in a one-sided encounter in Devon.
Tivvy, five points from safety, had the first chance, but Dylan Jones’ cross was deflected away for a corner.
In the ninth minute, Sam Deadfield delivered an inch-perfect free-kick and Liam Ferdinand headed the ball past Joe Duncan.
Five minutes later, skipper Ben Cook found himself in space on the edge of the box and he drove the ball home from 17 yards.
