GLOUCESTER claimed a late equaliser to rescue a point against Basingstoke, but remain adrift of runaway leaders Merthyr Town and second-placed AFC Totton.
Basingstoke, meanwhile, will be ruing a wasted opportunity to earn three points against a top-five side in their battle to avoid the drop.
