PREMIER EAST winners Sidmouth Town became overall kings of the league by lifting the annual Champions Bowl with a 4-2 win on penalties over Newquay AFC – thanks to snatching a last-gasp equaliser.
Premier West champions Newquay led in the 49th minute through a Louis Price penalty awarded for handball, only for Sidmouth sub Billy Spurway to level.
The game, held at Crediton United, raised £900 for the league’s benevolent fund for injured players.
