Matty moves in with Mariners

MARINE FC have snapped up midfielder Matty McDonald following his departure from Warrington Town.
The 22-year-old played his youth football with Everton and Crewe Alexandra before moving to Warrington Town, where he made 42 appearances in the National League North last season for the Yellows.
McDonald said: “I’m made up to be here. As soon as Bobby got in touch about being interested, I thought, this is the place I want to go, it’s a no-brainer for us, so I’m made up it’s over the line.
