SUTTON United say the sale of Will Davies to League Two side Fleetwood Town has brought in “one of the highest transfer fees the club has ever received”.
The 26-year-old scored 20 goals in 49 appearances for Sutton last season, having left York City in March 2024.
And that was enough to alert the attentions of Fleetwood’s former FC Halifax Town boss Pete Wild, who offered the striker a two-year deal at Highbury.
