CHESHAM maintained their unbeaten record in pre-season with a narrow win over a depleted Oxford City.
The Generals began on top against a visiting side who only had a squad of 15 players, including six trialists.
Chesham had a great chance to take the lead in the third minute, when a drive from Nathan Minhas was parried by Oxford’s trialist goalkeeper only for Mitchell Weiss to blaze the loose ball over the bar.
