FC UNITED earned a dominant victory over Leek, avenging the 5-2 drubbing they received in the same fixture last season.
It was Leek who had the first sight of goal, Hayden Campbell firing straight at Dan Atherton, but from that point it was the home side who dominated the game.
Charlie Ennis fired just wide on the quarter hour and only a couple minutes later, Adam Le Fondre opened his account for the season after a cross was dummied by Andre Wisdom – Le Fondre beating the offside trap to float the ball into the net.
