■ BACK at Step Four, after two seasons’ absence, St Neots could not have faced a tougher baptism with the visit of Belper Town.
The first half was fairly even with the visitors taking a 15th minute lead through Kevin De-Bastos.
St Neots deservedly replied, 11 minutes later, with a Christian Tavernier penalty following a foul on Charlie Bowen in the area.
The visitors regained the lead after 65 minutes with the best goal of the match – a neat near-post header by Benjamin Rhodes from a Louis Keenan corner.
