BRIDLE NETS WINNER AS HAWKS GET OFF MARK

WHITEHAWK came from behind to record their first win of the new Isthmian Premier campaign against Cray Valley.
In an enthralling start, the visitors went close twice within the first five minutes – with Marcel Barrington hitting the post before a header came back off the woodwork moments later.
Hawks then went close themselves, Shaun Rowley making a superb point-blank save to deny Harry Bridle.
But the hosts did go in front midway through the first half when Josh Nandhra took advantage of a mistake at the back to slot home.
