TAYLOR FIRES BORO TO A MAIDEN WIN AT THE AEI

GOSPORT clinched their first win of the season as they beat Berkhamsted at the AEI Stadium.
It was a steady start to proceedings with two injury stoppages in the first twenty minutes on the artificial surface.
Adam Tomasso blazed over the bar, followed by Berkhamsted appeals for a penalty being turned down for handball as a shot was blocked just before the half-hour.
The visitors almost took the lead after 35 minutes when a counter attack landed at the feet of Cyrus Babaie, who volleyed his shot wide from a tight angle.
