HANWELL recorded a second consecutive win with a comfortable victory over Yate.
A penalty from Dan Carr and a brace from the in-form Alfie Pendlebury meant that the result was in little doubt after the 65th minute.
Such a result was not presaged by the first 20 minutes when both defences dominated and neither keeper was called upon to demonstrate their abilities.
However, the game sprung to life in the 24th minute with Pendlebury’s block of Aaron Salisbury’s clearance almost being converted by Jordy Mongoy.
