Jack in the box earns Town a comeback win

A PENALTY goal apiece was all that separated the two sides until 70 minutes when a rocket header by Jack Mazzone off the underside of the Thame crossbar saw Chertsey Town nudge through to the second qualifying round.
Louis Walsh handed the Step 4 Barton the lead from the penalty spot on 27 minutyes, only for Chertsey to level, via the same source, from Ollie McCoy on 63 minutes.
The Curfews had the early control but it was the visitors who showed first in front of goal with Harry Alexander twice testing Luke Wynne-Roberts in goal.
