■ SHIFNAL Town came away from Manchester with a win away at Wythenshawe Town.
It looked like the two teams were going to head into the interval at a stalemate.
However, Jack Hodnett had other ideas as the Shropshire side won a free-kick in a tight angle. He didn’t care as he stepped up and delivered a free-kick to perfect as it flew into Aidan McKearney’s goal.
Shifnal had a corner cleared off the line in the second half, while Wythenshawe pushed for an equaliser as the neared towards its conclusion.
