A TIGHT encounter ended all square in Surrey as Margate’s search for a first league victory continues.
Merstham will rue not con-verting several good chances in the opening 45 minutes as Gate keeper Tom Wray denied both Jamarie Brissett and Louis Evans at full stretch.
The home side broke the deadlock on the hour mark as Sam King outmuscled the Gate centre backs and nutmegged Wray from just inside the area.
