EASTBOURNE Town made it back-to-back wins after defeating Herne Bay at The Saffrons.
It was the Kent side who had the better chances early on, with Kamani McFarlane going close and then Scott Heard shooting off target.
However, it was the hosts who drew first blood when the impressive James Waters fired home after 41 minutes.
But Herne Bay drew level before half-time as Chinedu Duru struck on the second attempt after seeing his initial header well saved by Chris Winterton.
