A WORRYING trend for Chertsey Town was repeated at their Alwyns Lane home, in which a good first half performance and a goal lead gave way to second half misery in which three goals were conceded inside an eight-minute spell. It turned a game around that earlier looked like Town might break their poor home league form.
Chertsey’s bright start eventually manufactured a goal just before the half hour when Ollie McCoy exploited space on the left and stabbed the ball across the Gosport goal for Jack Mazzone to finish off.
