■ HASSOCKS continued their good start with a battling draw against AFC Whyteleafe.
It was the hosts who started the better at The Beacon. Jack Troak couldn’t quite pick out a red shirt with a dangerous ball in, before Dan Turner saw his header well blocked on the line.
However, it was Whyteleafe who went in front on the half hour mark when Moses Emmanuel picked out Daniel Bennett and he made no mistake. But Hassocks drew level before the break – Lewis Finney converting a penalty he won after he was brought down by keeper George Hill...
